Knit Loud. Knit Often.
If you are going to knit, then doing it loudly seems about right.
knit·ting: verb. Creating fabric by clacking needles and yarn
together in a loud way so as to disrupt quiet activities going on around you.
-------------------------------------------------
Knitting doesn't really have to be loud, it just depends on the kind of needles you are using.

color: green, and 1 yard lengths of white and black for colorwork
Needles: size

Yarn
needle
Scissors
-Cast on
19 stitches.
-Knit 3
rows in garter stitch, (knitting every stitch)
-Switch
to stockinette stitch, (meaning knit one row and then knit one purl row), until
your work measures one inch.
-On the next
knit row, knit 5 stitches with the main color, and add the other yarns as
they appear in the chart.

-Use
short lengths of black and white yarn, using the stranded technique.
Note: Stranded
knitting is normally done in the round, with only two colors per row, and this
piece is knit flat – with three colors – so strand all the colors by carrying
them together, twisting them every two stitches with whatever color is being
knit at the time, on both the knit and the purl rows. Keep even tension.
-Switch
back to the main background color and work in stockinette stitch until the
piece is 6 inches long.
-Knit 3 rows
in garter stitch. Bind off.
-Fold the
work in ½, right sides together and stitch the sides together using the yarn
needle and some matching yarn. Secure and weave in all ends. Turn right side out.
Insert your iPod, or cellphone, or whatever for snuggly storage. iSheep.
